Sewer cleaning and maintenance
When a drainage problem reaches beyond one fixture, the sewer line belongs in the conversation. We offer sewer cleaning for residential and commercial properties.
Based in Somerset, WI. Serving both sides of the St. Croix.
NOTICE AND DESCRIBE
Bring the sewer line into the conversation when
- 01
Several fixtures slow down around the same time.
- 02
Wastewater appears at a lower drain.
- 03
An earlier sewer cleaning helped, but symptoms returned.
- 04
You want to discuss cleaning before a problem becomes active.
Think beyond the fixture
A sewer lateral connects a property to the public sewer. An accessible cleanout provides a way to reach that line for cleaning. When you call, mention a cleanout you already know about, along with the rooms or fixtures affected. You do not need to map the route underground.
A shared pattern matters. For example, a laundry drain and a bathroom changing at the same time gives us a different starting point from one slow sink. It still does not identify the obstruction by itself. Describe the sequence you noticed rather than trying to prove which pipe is blocked.
Cleaning now, clearer decisions afterward
Sewer cleaning addresses material inside the line. Camera inspection examines visible internal conditions. Both are established sewer-maintenance activities, but they serve different purposes. If the same problem keeps coming back, consider discussing an inspection as well as another cleaning.
For a maintenance question, start with the reason you are considering service: a previous root obstruction, repeated slowdowns, or an existing inspection finding. There is no useful one-size-fits-all calendar for every property. Tell us what has happened at your line so the conversation stays relevant to the way you use it.
Stillwater: start with the public-main check when needed
Stillwater asks owners to contact its Sewer Department first for a suspected backup when the blockage location is unknown. The City checks the public main and directs owners toward private service if the main is clear.
After that check, call us about the private line and pass along the City findings. Stillwater also asks owners to notify the City when private sewer cleaning is being arranged. We serve Stillwater, Hudson and Somerset; the useful local detail is which system serves your property, rather than simply the city printed on the mailing address.
