This is a call-us situation.
Emergency drain service
For an active drain or sewer backup, put the current problem first. Call us directly, tell us where wastewater is appearing and check current service availability.
Based in Somerset, WI. Serving both sides of the St. Croix.

Make the first sentence count
“Wastewater is coming up through the basement floor drain right now” tells us more than “I have a plumbing problem.” Follow with the address and whether the water is still rising, has stopped or appears when another fixture is used. Describe what has already happened rather than repeating it for a test.
Call directly for an active problem instead of relying on a website inquiry. Tell us which other rooms or fixtures are affected and who is at the property. If someone else is coordinating the request, make sure there is a contact who can explain the current conditions and arrange access.
The visible drain is not the whole answer
Wastewater can appear at a lower opening when a restriction affects drainage farther along the system. The place you see the backup does not, by itself, identify the cause or whether the public sewer is involved. That distinction matters when deciding which service or utility contact needs to act.
If an earlier cleaning, camera inspection or utility check has already happened, give us the result in a sentence or two. Say whether the problem changed afterward. Focus on the current backup first; a detailed history can follow. A service request is easier to discuss when today’s conditions are clear.
Stillwater has a specific City-first route
For a suspected backup with an unknown blockage location, Stillwater asks owners to contact its Sewer Department before a drain-cleaning company. The City checks its main and advises private service when the main is clear.
Pass that finding along when calling us about the private line. We also serve Somerset and Forest Lake, where the appropriate municipal reporting guidance depends on the address. Call us to discuss the active drain-service request and current availability, while keeping any utility direction connected to the same problem. Have a callback number ready in case the property contact is someone else.
