Drain questions?
Un-boggle away.

You do not need a plumbing dictionary to get started. Here are answers to the questions that help you explain the trouble, find the right service and know what to expect when you reach out.

Services

What kinds of drain and sewer work can I ask about?

Clog Un-Boggler offers drain and sewer cleaning for residential and commercial properties. The service list also includes camera inspections, sewer maintenance, pipe cleaning, frozen pipe services, hydro jetting, tree root removal and septic tank baffle replacement. Call to discuss the specific service and your address.

What if I do not know which service I need?

You do not need to diagnose the problem first. Tell us which fixture or area is affected, what you noticed and when it began. We can discuss whether the request fits our services and what to ask about next.

Can I ask about a camera inspection?

Yes. We offer sewer camera inspections. Ask what portion of the line can be viewed, what information or documentation you will receive, and whether cleaning is separate.

Do you work with commercial properties?

Yes. Clog Un-Boggler offers drain and sewer service for commercial properties. When you call, share the property address, affected area and any access or operating details that may help explain the request.

Are cleaning and inspection the same service?

They are different requests. Cleaning addresses buildup or obstructions, while a camera inspection can help show what is happening inside a line. Ask what each proposed service includes before scheduling.

Service area

How do I check whether you serve my address?

We are based in Somerset, Wisconsin and serve nearby communities in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Call (715) 760-5141 or send a service inquiry with the property address so coverage can be confirmed.

Getting service

What information should I have ready when I call?

Start with the service address, the fixture or fixtures involved, what you noticed and when it began. Mention any previous cleaning, inspection or utility check you know about. It is fine to say you are unsure about the cause or wastewater system.

What should I report if several drains are affected?

List the affected fixtures and describe what changed and when. Those observations help explain the request, but do not by themselves establish the cause or location of a problem.

Can I call if I do not know whether my property uses sewer or septic?

Yes. Share the address and say you are unsure. You can check property or utility records, and the serving public office may help identify the public system for your address.

What should I share if a clog comes back after cleaning?

Note which fixture is affected, when the problem returned, what changed after the earlier visit and any service records you have. A recurring symptom alone does not establish its cause or mean that a particular repair is needed.

Urgent concerns

What should I do if sewage is backing up?

Avoid contact with sewage and do not run water to recreate the problem. Follow the reporting instructions for the utility serving your address, since some communities ask residents to contact Public Works first when a public sewer issue may be involved. For private drain and sewer cleaning, call (715) 760-5141 to discuss the situation.

Do you offer emergency drain and sewer service?

We offer emergency drain and sewer services. Call (715) 760-5141 to explain what is happening and confirm current availability and next steps.

Contact

Does sending the service inquiry book an appointment?

No. The form sends a service inquiry and does not book an appointment. The family will receive your message and email a confirmation. For a sewer backup or something urgent, call instead.
