Sanitary sewer and stormwater have different routes
The Village of North Hudson says it does not own, operate, or maintain the water or sanitary sewer system within the Village. For water or sewer utility questions and service requests, it directs residents to the City of Hudson’s utility contact page. North Hudson Public Works The Village separately provides a Public Works request path that includes storm sewer backup reports. Village request page
So, if you have an indoor sanitary sewer concern, use the City of Hudson utility route for municipal utility questions. If you are reporting a storm sewer backup or other Village public works issue, use North Hudson’s reporting route. If you are uncertain which system is involved, explain what you see and where; do not try to identify the utility from the water alone.
For a private service call, tell us the property address, which fixture or fixtures are affected, when the issue started, and whether water is coming up indoors or collecting outside. Mention prior cleaning or inspection if known. A single slow sink, multiple slow fixtures, gurgling, or a floor drain backup are details worth sharing, but none by itself establishes the location or cause of a blockage.
Keep the request focused
The North Hudson request page asks residents to include the location and a description for a Public Works request. For a private drain service call, give the address and describe what you observed. You do not need the technical label.
The Village’s median housing construction year is 1986, with a 90% margin of error of plus or minus 4 years, according to the 2020 to 2024 American Community Survey. It does not establish any property’s pipe age, material, or condition. Census ACS table B25035
Let us fix your pain in the drain. Tell us what is happening at the private drain or sewer line. If you are asking about inspection or physical repairs, discuss that scope separately from cleaning.
